The research interests of Aymeric Bellon are in corporate finance, bankruptcy and financial intermediation, with topics primarily in environmental, energy and climate finance.

His recent research studies how environmental lender liability affects banks’ incentives to influence the practices of their debtors and how PE ownership changes firms’ incentives to pollute.

His examination of how personal wealth affects business ownerships was published in the Review of Financial Studies.

He teaches courses in investments and corporate finance.

He received his PhD in finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, his MA in data science from ENSAE ParisTech and his MA in economics from Ecole Normale Superieure Paris-Saclay.
